The Real ART of Running

Time For Water

This spring has been so cold and wet that I haven’t been carrying water on my long runs.  I just haven’t been sweating that much even after 10-12 miles.  But after Saturday’s 12 miles I think it’s time to strap on the water bottle.  The temperature was about 54 when I started but rose about 10 degrees during my run.  By the end I was looking for open buildings that might have a drinking fountains.  Unfortunately I didn’t run by any that were open.  So, I either need to plan my route better or take the water.
