The Real ART of Running

Running in Utah? SPECTACULAR!

Last week was terrific.  I did a couple nice runs on some country (and I mean COUNTRY) roads in southern Utah.  If you haven’t been there you don’t know what you’re missing.  Beautiful red rock cliffs and canyons, rolling hills, and hot summer temperatures.  (That Camelbak came in handy.)

Running was a nice way to warm up and stretch before we did some day hikes in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon.  All three parks are spectacular with very different views and trails.

A week away with family was great and now I’m back refreshed and recharged.  Running in unfamiliaer cities can be fun but I’m looking forward to logging miles around the neighborhood and familiar routes.
