The Real ART of Running

Finally, Clear Sidewalks. (For Now)

To me, the worst thing about running outside in the winter is not the cold, it’s the slippery footing.  Roads and sidewalks that don’t get cleared after snowfalls become a mess with ice ruts and slick patches.  But now that we’ve had several days of sunny skies here in Michigan all the sidewalks are nice and dry.  Even though I’m sure we’ll get more snow and ice before winter is really gone, it’s nice to get a fresh start with dry sidewalks. So, if you’ve been hating the treadmill but have been reluctant to run outside because of the snow and ice, get outside NOW while you can!
