The Real ART of Running

A Taste of Spring

Spring is teasing us.  I know it’s not here to stay but that’s okay.  Sunny and 30 degrees at 9:00AM in early March is just fine.  I wanted to do 9 miles this morning but felt like taking a different route than usual so I looked up some saved routes on my Runnersworld.com log.  I picked out a route I hadn’t done since last summer and headed out the door.  This time of year it can be tricky determining what to wear.  It’s still cool but you can heat up quickly in the sun.  I guessed right with Cool Max long sleeves and Under Armor leggings and felt great the entire run as I jumped puddles of melting snow.

I’m sure we’ll get another snowfall, or two, but for now, it feels like running weather!
