2018 Goal Accomplished by Thanksgiving
My goal this year was to run 1000 miles. In January it felt like a realistic goal but not a slam dunk. A lot can happen during the course of the year. Injuries, illness, life, can all interrupt a running schedule. And this year they did interrupt but fortunately not too often or too badly. So, I’m happy to report that I hit my 1000 mile goal a couple days before Thanksgiving. I had some nagging injuries this year and spent weeks getting chiropractic adjustments for my hip and pelvis. During that time I reduced my miles and took more days off than I normally would but I guess it worked out okay. Now the question is, should I take more time off and try to really recover or should I keep my routine and try to pass my 2017 total of 1060 miles?
